FORCED BUSING OF LOW INCOME STUDENTS!
MORE VACANT BUILDINGS IN A LOW INCOME NEIGHBORHOOD!
LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!
The Numbers:
15,797 residents live within 1 mile of current location*
Those residents have an average income of $27,075*
Compare:
807 residents live within 1 mile of the proposed location*
Those residents have an average income of $80,518*
THAT’S 5% OF THE POPULATION WITH 66% MORE INCOME! It will mean forced busing, as many students in the current school district walk to school now.
NEW HIGH SCHOOL WOULD ONLY SERVE 800 STUDENTS**

4th largest high school – South High, 701 W. 33rd St. South, 1,675 students
